“Grandpa's cannon”: our family and the Victory Column.

According to our family's account, a great-grandfather of Dr. Bente helped bring to Berlin one of the captured cannons whose bronze was cast into the Victoria and the column's ornament. In the family she is still fondly called “grandpa's cannon”.

That story became an attitude: the law is not a monument to admire from afar. You have to understand it, defend it and keep it in motion. That is what we mean by our guiding line “Always for your rights”.

The partnership is led today by Dr. Ulrich Bente and Kathleen Meier, personally, discreetly and with the care a good case deserves.
